INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS

INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS

The Green Coffee Brazil performs the operations of container stuffing in warehouses of the interior of São Paulo estate and southern of Minas Gerais, loading 330 bags with 60 kg in a 20-foot container. After loading the containers, we take care of their transportation to the shipping terminal in Santos at the same day. Santos ocean port is the Brazilian main port for coffee exports.

The most common incoterm shipping mode in export of coffee is FOB (Free On Board), where the seller must deliver the coffee, cleared for export, to the carrier nominated by the buyer at the named place. The maritime shipping is usually hired by the importer, but when requested by the client, MAGNUS BRAZIL can quote CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight) considering the shipping until to the port of destination. The acceptance of the quality and weight checking will happen in the destiny either chosen Incoterms, FOB or CIF.

LONG TERM CONTRACTS

One of the most important factors for green buyers is to guarantee maintenance of grain quality standards during replacement of the lots. The GCB and MAGNUS BRAZIL establish long-term contracts with growers and partners to make sure the commercial terms and conditions are respected according to the terms defined in international documents ECC- European Coffee Contract) and GCA- Green Coffee Association (USA) standards.
